Support utility sales tax exemption and 179D engagements, from predominant-use studies to energy modeling coordination, working directly with our specialty tax team. Project management background preferred; manufacturing or engineering experience is a plus, but not required.

As part of our Energy Services team, this role focuses on utility sales tax exemptions, obtaining tax exemptions and refunds on the electric, gas, and water utilities used in manufacturing and production. The role centers on facility tours and data collection across our target industries, manufacturing, production, industrial processing, and recycling, along with preparing energy reports and maintaining a detailed project plan. Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time throughout the continental US is required.

We’re looking for a highly motivated individual to lead R&D Tax Credit projects end to end, participate in sales and marketing efforts, and help develop and train consultants within the practice. Previous R&D tax credit experience and proven leadership capability are expected, along with willingness to travel up to 30% of the time throughout the continental US.

This role requires willingness to travel up to 50% of the time throughout the continental US.
